Unparalleled Lacrosse, LLC. will host the 2011 Men’s League September 18th through November 20th at Kristine Lily Field (TURF & LIGHTED) located at the Wilton High School from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday afternoons. This competitive fall league is geared for players 35– 45 years of age. The league will be run in a tournament format, and will allow dedicated lacrosse players and clubs the opportunity to compete in a 10 game regular season.
The fall league will consist 6 teams of 18-24 players, One team will be reserved as a Free Agent player team to allow guys who are seeking a team the chance to play. The Games will be played from 1pm-4pm. Professional referees will be provided by the CIAC referee association. All teams will play one game weekly. Games will consist of 10 on 10 play. Each game will be 60 minutes, consisting of four 15 minute running time quarters and a 5-minute half time. Club rules will apply. Scoreboard will be active and there is a family friendly atmosphere. Water coolers will also be provided along with a certified medical staff.
Teams can register with UL and be provided fees inclusive of team uniforms. There are three options: teams can register and provide their own uniforms; teams can be provided Custom Jerseys, or teams can be provided full uniforms including jerseys and shorts. All teams must be properly attired, consisting of matching uniform tops with numbers. UL can work with team organizers to design team apparel. Shorts will be pocketed and jersey will be sweat management shooting shirts with logo and backside number. Uniform orders will need to be placed 3 weeks prior to league start date.
Players are encouraged to register as part of a team. Teams may consist of up to 24 players, including a goalie. Team captains and or organizer will play for free if they submit a 24-man roster with all player registrations, payments, and team information before August 24th. If you are playing on a team you must provide the team name or captain’s name on your registration. Individual registrations will be accepted, but on a first come first serve basis. Individually registered players will be placed onto the Free Agent team. Individual registrations are due no later than September 1st.
