Unparalleled Lacrosse will host the area’s top Youth Boys Fall League. The league will run from September 25th-November 20th, on Sunday afternoons from 12:00-4:00PM at the Miller Driscoll School complex in Wilton. The league will be held on an outdoor full field in an 8 on 8 format. Each team will field 2 attackmen, 3 midfielders, 2 defensemen, and one goalie during game play. The league allows current 5-6th graders and 7-8th grade players to continue playing the game as a team at a competitive level during the fall in preparation for fall tournament teams and their town programs. The league is a great way to keep your youth teams playing and learning over the fall months while providing them while competing in weekly games during the off season months. This is also a great opportunity for guys who are not playing on club or elite fall teams to get a great playing experience at a fraction of the price of a fall club team.
The league will consist of 8 teams, 4 at the 5-6th grade level and 4 teams at the 7-8th grade level. Players are placed by their current school year as of the 2011 fall semester. The games will be played at Miller Driscoll School in Wilton, CT. Games will take place from 12:00PM to 2:00PM for the 5/6th grade division and from 2:00PM to 4:00PM for the 7/8th grade teams. Certified CIAC referees will be staffed. Teams will play one game per week for a total of ten weeks. Games will consist of two thirty-minute running time halves. Players will serve penalty time and CONNY Rules will apply. Teams are encouraged to provide their own coach. Alternatively, a coach can be provided upon request for an additional fee.
Players are encouraged to register as part of a team. Teams may consist of a minimum of 18 and up to 21 players. Team captain & organizer, as well as goalies will play for free if they submit a team roster with all player registrations, payments, and team information before August 24th. If you are playing on a Team you must provide the team name or captain’s name on your registration. Individual registrations will be accepted, but on a first come first serve basis. Individually registered players will be placed onto a free agent team. Individual registrations are due no later than September 1st. Jerseys for all team participants are included. Team managers must submit a 50% deposit upon league acceptance.
