2012 High School Boy’s Summer Lacrosse League

Free agent player fee: $185.00 •

Team fee without jerseys: $2400.00 (minimum of 18 players, max 24)

For the 5th season, Unparalleled Lacrosse, LLC., will host the area’s top High School Boy’s Summer Lacrosse League. The league will run from June 25th through August 8th, Monday and Wednesday’s from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at the University of Bridgeport’s Knights Field. The league will be run in a round robin, eight team tournament format. The league will allow current HS players to continue playing the game as a team or “free agent” at a competitive level during the summer in preparation for camps, tournament teams, and HS & College ball. The league is also a great resource to local HS coaches who wish to continue developing their returning players as well as incoming players prior to next year’s school season. LacrosseRecruits.com will be videotaping games weekly to provide players with a tremendous recruiting tool. All players will also receive a discounted opportunity to utilize the country’s #1 lacrosse recruiting resource through participation.

 

The league will consist of eight teams of up to 24 players. The league is set to run on Mondays and Wednesdays for teams beginning on June 25th and concludes on August 8th. Games will take place from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Certified CIAC referees will be staffed. Teams will play two games per week for the duration of the league. Games will consist of two, 25 minute running timed halves and a five minute half time. Players will serve penalty time, and CIAC HS Rules will apply. Teams are encouraged to provide their own coach, or a coach can be provided for an additional fee upon request. Teams can use their own school jerseys or UL can provide custom pinny’s for your team with town or club logo and numbers.

 

Players are encouraged to register as part of a team. Teams may consist of a minimum of 18 and max of 24 players. Team captains or organizer will play for free if they submit a team roster with all player registrations, payments, and team information before June 10th. If you are playing on a team you must provide the team name or captain’s info on your registration. Individual registrations will be accepted, but on a first come first serve basis. Individually registered players will be placed onto a “free agent” team to be coached by a UL staff member. Individual registrations are due no later than June 10th.
