Unparalleled Lacrosse, LLC., will host the 2011 Men’s League, June 25th through August 19th at Knight Field located at the University of Bridgeport. This competitive summer league is geared for players 35– 45 years of age. The league will be run in a 10 on 10 tournament format, and will allow dedicated lacrosse players and clubs the opportunity to compete in a five game regular season with a three game playoff until a champion is crowned.

 

This league will consist of six teams of 18-24 players. One team will be reserved as a “free agent” player team to allow those who are seeking a team the chance to play. The games will be played once a week, from 1pm-4pm. Professional referees will be provided by the CIAC referee association. Games will be one hour and composed of four, 15 minute running timed quarters with a five minute half time. Club rules will apply. Water coolers will also be provided along with a certified medical staff.

 

There are three registration options: teams can register and provide their own uniforms; teams can be provided custom jerseys; or teams can be provided full uniforms including jerseys and shorts. All teams must be properly attired, which includes matching uniform tops with numbers. UL can work with team organizers to design team apparel. Shorts will be pocketed and jerseys will be sweat management shooting shirts with logo and backside number. Uniform orders will need to be placed four weeks prior to the league start date.

 

Players are encouraged to register as a team. Teams may consist of up to 24 players, including a goalie. Team captains and/or organizer will play for free if they submit a 24 man roster with all player registrations, payments, and team information before June 1st. If you are playing on a team, you must provide the team name or captain’s name on your registration. Individual registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Individually registered players will be placed onto the “free agent” player team. Individual registrations are due no later than June 10th.
