High School level players will receive coaching from current Division I Coaches and Former Division I players while playing in weekly competition. Each player will focus on the individual skills and team play attributes that top HS and College programs are teaching. The primary goal of the HS Elite and JV Teams is player development. Through in depth instruction and our concentration on team play, we push players to maximize their individual abilities while also concentrating on the team’s success. Unparalleled Lacrosse further believes that work ethic, commitment, discipline, and positive attitude are vital keys to each team member’s individual and team success. Our philosophy ensures your player will become knowledgeable, skilled, and ready to take the next steps with their game come spring.

 

All teams will concentrate on offensive and defensive schemes that have been used by the top college programs and coaches. Core curriculum has been developed by current Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Sacred Heart University, a former Wilton HS All- American and Johns Hopkins National Champion Goalie, Scott Smith. UL coaches stress unselfish play on offense while pushing individuals to maximize their skills in various motion, 141, 132, 222, and 333 sets. Defensively, coaches will teach aggressive slide and support progressions, near man, and zone packages to maximize our team’s strengths.

 

High School Junior Varsity and Varsity Elite team participants will play 1 game weekly against another club or HS program. Games will take place on the Full Field turf arena in a 10 v 10 format.  All HS Teams will field 1 goalie, 3 defensemen, 3 midfielders, and 3 attackmen during game play. HS rosters are limited to 18 players to ensure ample playing time. UL rosters will consist of 2 Goalies, 4 Defenseman, 8 Middies, and 4 Attackmen per team. HS games will consist of four fifteen minute running time quarters. HS Leagues will follow CIAC Rules, and Certified Referees are provided for each game. Penalty time will be served.

 

HS Varsity Teams are geared for highly skilled players in grades 10-12. Players are deemed eligible by their current school year as of September 12th. Players who would like to participate on a UL HS Elite Indoor team are required to have HS Varsity playing experience, as well as having prior experience on an Elite or Club travel team. Players are subject to evaluation or coach’s recommendation to be considered for a team.

 

HS Junior Varsity Teams are geared for skilled and budding players in grades 9-10.  Players are deemed eligible by their current school year as of September 12th. Players who would like to participate on a UL JV Indoor Team should be dedicated to learning the game, playing a high pace of speed, and ready to take the next step in preparation for their HS playing careers. Players should have prior game and playing experience.

 

All HS players will receive a UL custom team jersey. All players will receive equal playing time.
